Hand sculpted beeswax, cotton thread
I created these fence sculptures in anticipation of their destruction. They serve as reminders that all symbols constructed to delineate borders possess the potential to be dismantled, torn down, scrapped, and eroded. Their absence engenders new imaginations, identities and opportunities for suturing fractured landscapes.
